Bringing more than 20 years of experience working at the intersection of research, policy, philanthropy, and practice, supporting organizations that are designing and scaling initiatives to improve postsecondary access, persistence, and completion—particularly for historically underserved students. Dr. Bustillos is committed to advancing equity in education. Dr. Bustillos partners with philanthropic foundations, policy organizations, and national intermediaries to strengthen impact across complex initiatives. Her work includes field-level strategy and learning, program and initiative design, and research translation and policy analysis. She is particularly experienced in helping multi-partner collaborations align on goals, define success metrics, and build practical feedback loops that support continuous improvement.
